Chris and I had been dating several years prior to getting engaged, even though we knew it was what we both eventually wanted. Chris bought tickets for opening night to "Wicked" for my birthday, which I was thrilled about! We went to an amazing dinner prior to the show and we were the only people seated inside, creating a very intimate dining experience. Right before dessert, he proceeded to express his love and desire to spend every day of the rest of our lives together. He then asked me to marry him and of course I replied yes! It was simple, sweet and very private... Which was perfect for us!
