Little Rock native Ashley Briggs and Paul Huenefeld III of Heber Springs are engaged to be married! This cute and musical couple will exchange vows at the Little Rock Fellowship Bible Church on Friday, March 20.

Paul and I met in college at Ouachita Baptist University. We were both music majors and became friends through being in choir together. I had a huge crush on him while we were just friends. It was like a dream come true when we started dating my junior year and his senior year of college!
We dated for almost two years when he asked me to marry him on October 6, 2014. Paul and I both work at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock. He convinced me one night after our small group Bible study that he needed to help set up for an event happening the next morning at church, and I happily tagged along to help!
As we got to the room he was setting up in, he told me there was a video we needed to watch that he helped produce for our church. I naively believed him, but as the video started, his voice reading a verse about love out of the book of 1 Corinthians. We continued to watch as friends and family that mean the world to me showed up on the video, reading a love letter that Paul had written to me.As soon as I saw my brother on the video I knew THIS WAS IT! (And of course I started crying my eyes out!)
The video was over, and Paul knelt down on one knee to ask me to marry him. I said yes! We are the most excited for our wedding day coming soon. We cannot wait to start our life together, growing with one another and, most importantly, serving the Lord together as Huenefelds!
