Hope Polk and Greg Allen are engaged! The Jonesboro couple will tie the knot on Saturday, July 11, at the Wheeler Estate.
After we picked our jaws up off the ground (seriously, it took a while), we knew it was love at first site with this gorgeous shoot by Ali Moore Photography (and edited by the bride-to-be!). Here's their equally beautiful love story from Hope:
Greg and I have a nontraditional love story, by all means. It all started when I was 17 years old and free spirited. Greg was 22 and the president of his fraternity, the same fraternity house I casually snuck into. Without fail, Greg caught me and kicked me out continuously. Two years later, and two years more mature, I met him spontaneously at a house party at his condo. This time, I didn't get kicked out.
Now, after two years of being together, we are engaged and live in a house that he can't kick me out of! Our partying days are over. Instead of beer at a fraternity house, it's coffee on the front porch with our two beautiful dogs, Alexander and Caesar. Now, every day feels like an adventure, from daily walks with our dogs to three-day canoe trips down the Buffalo River. It's amazing how love can slow things down and at the same time, make life so much more exciting.
