Mourning the loss of summer? No worries. Camden native Sarah Sutton and Hot Springs native Caleb McClanahan's engagement session in California will give you a dose of sunshine big enough to get you through winter.
This couple is returning to their home state to tie the knot on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs, but their new home in Los Angeles definitely provided quite the backdrop when Sterling Imageworks passed through town and Sarah cashed in a free session she'd won at a bridal fair.
We're loving this Santa Monica Pier sesh and their cute love story, as told by Sarah:
Caleb and I met at an Arkansas Travelers baseball game. I was currently dancing as a Halo for the baseball team. Caleb and I had been texting/messaging back and forth and he decided he was going to come and meet me. He brought some of his best friends and I told Caleb that I would meet him at the top of the stadium. I hid to see where he was standing and his friends were being silly running up and down the stadium’s steps. I watched him tell them to go sit back down because they couldn’t be there when I came out to meet him.
Caleb and I decided right after we met that we could all go to dinner. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings where I spilled water everywhere. I was so embarrassed! After dinner, Caleb drove his friends and I around Little Rock so we could sing and dance to songs on the radio. I had so much fun getting to know Caleb and hanging out with him and his friends that I didn’t want the night to end. After that we started hanging out more and quickly started a relationship. He played baseball in college at UCA, where we both attended. Our relationship evolved as I spent many evenings watching him play; we are both huge baseball fans! We’ve been dating for five years as of August 24 and we can’t wait to get married on December 5!
