Toss some confetti and spread the good news: Little Rock couple Grace Williams and Rushawn Holloman are engaged! Both originally from Norman, Oklahoma, the two will say “I do” on Saturday, April 16, with a ceremony at the Longley Baptist Church, followed by a celebration at the Albert Pike Memorial Temple in Little Rock.

We’re loving these shots by R. Hameth Photography (including Grace seriously rocking her uniform!), and are too excited for this dynamic duo. Even their sweet love story almost sounds like something from a movie!

Rushawn and I met on my doorstep! Literally, he knocked on my door and said "hello." Little did we know that we had been so very close to each other for a good chunk of our lives. We both attended Henderson Health Sciences Magnet Middle School, as well as Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School, and never ran into one another. A few years passed and we both worked at stores out in Shackleford Crossing, and although we remember visiting each other’s workplaces, we do not remember seeing or meeting one another.

One day, I just so happened to call to get internet and TV months after living in my apartment and this handsome man knocked on my door. Being a bit nervous at first, I would try to stay a little distance away from him, but he started talking and making me feel comfortable. From that point on, I gave him such a hard time as he was working; I even threw a pen at him! From that moment, we both knew there was something there, and we have been on the best adventure of our lives ever since!

Sounds serendipitous to us! Congrats, Rushawn and Grace!
