“Realizing the groom’s cake had an ex-boyfriend’s initials on it.” -Rick Steiner

“The bride passed out at the altar for more than 30 seconds. Luckily, the maid of honor caught her, but then the poor MOH’s dress ripped! We performed an emergency sewing job while also helping the bride regain consciousness. Then, the ceremony carried on as planned. Good thing we all took sewing classes!” -Elizabeth Gorman

“The first daughter of a family: The cake table fell over during the reception. Second daughter’s wedding: The cake vendor had a wreck with their cake in the car. The third daughter will probably order a sheet cake after that!” -Chris Norwood

“I’ve given a ring to the minister to use when the groom left the ring at home!” -Shelia Vaught

“One of our favor vendors forgot our order. Four hours before the reception, they scrambled to assemble 200 in a storage room adjacent to the ballroom. The couple didn’t know because we kept them busy and having fun.” -Tish Bullard

“Moments before a sendoff with paper lanterns, we discovered they are illegal. We were given a hall pass, but with the warning that the fire station was around the corner and the fine is $1,500 each. Later, we got a call saying they landed in the fire station’s front yard! We spent the next two hours hunting down every single lantern, terrified of the fines.” -Amanda Reed
