Jessica Seeber & Brett Elliott

When you think of an old fashioned workplace romance, you might not think of new love blossoming at a nuclear power plant, but that’s precisely where these radiation protection technicians fell in love. Jessica Seeber of New Orleans and Brett Elliott of Streator, Illinois, crossed paths at two different plants before deciding to give it a shot.

Then, after three years together, the couple went for a hike to Hawksbill Crag in Ponca with friends on a beautiful day. Brett popped the question at one of the state’s most scenic spots, and had plenty of pals with cameras at the ready to capture the special moment.

The Inspiration

If Jessica knew one thing about what she wanted in a fall wedding, she knew burlap, lace and pumpkins were not in the picture. She instead let her love of bright colors and geometric shapes take center stage with jewel tones and metallic accents inside the barn’s laid back atmosphere, creating what Jessica labeled a “romantic rustic-glam” space.

How They Customized

Great food and drinks played a big role in the Elliott wedding. They crafted signature cocktails for guests and sent them home with snacks from the trail mix bar and mini mason jars filled with homemade Arkansas moonshine. They even offered two buffet options: a “North Of The Mason Dixon” menu and a “South Of The Mason Dixon” menu.
