Callye Morris of Ash Flat and Craig Green of Pocahontas will tie the knot on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at The James Ranch. In the meantime, feast your eyes on their gorgeous engagement photos shot by Felicia Hausman Photography.
Prepare yourself for their adorable engagement story as told by Callye:
"Craig got me a dachshund puppy for Christmas in 2014. Her name is Lody and she is basically like a child to me. She will be important to the story later.
For Christmas 2015, Craig's family and I went on a skiing trip to Breckenridge Colorado. On the evening of day three, Craig, his sister, her husband and I went to the downtown area for dinner. It was so beautiful with snow-topped cottage buildings and lights in all the trees. After we ate, Craig's sister and her husband decided to head back to the condo. On our way back, we had to walk over a wooden bride with a creek running under it. Right before we got to the bridge, Craig said, "Let's just walk across the creek." Despite how crazy it sounded with freezing temperatures and snow coming down, I followed him anyways.
Once we reached the waters edge he said he had a late birthday gift for me. The moment was perfect, snow coming down — a giant Christmas tree behind us with lights strung around, and a beautiful creek to the right. I opened the small box with shaking hands to find a diamond and silver dachshund necklace. I looked up at Craig and he is smiling ear to ear and said, "Do you like it?" I shook off my disappointment the best I could. Finally, I ask Craig if he is ready to go and he says he has one more surprise and gets down on one knee. I was so excited and mad at him all in the same moment but of course I said yes! Looking back it makes me laugh because it was true to his personality to play such a trick on me. After I teared up and hugged him for what seemed like forever, we walked a crossed the bridge as a newly engaged couple."
