While we find our attention focused more on bridal fashion, we haven’t forgotten about the grooms out there! Strong Suit Clothing, headquartered in downtown Little Rock, has been a popular suiting destination for celebrities galore since the business was founded four years ago. Strong Suit Clothing offers affordable quality suiting, making it a perfect option for grooms-to-be.

Lately, Strong Suits has been seen on red carpets and talk shows on the likes of Jordan Peele from Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, Mr. Robot's Rami Malek and Mad Men’s Jon Hamm (just to name a few!). Suits and tuxes can be custom-made, with prices advertised for as low as $600. But Strong Suit offers more than just formal attire. They also offer suits, sport coats, shirts, pants and ties for all occasions.

“We have a great team that works hard to build a clothing brand that delivers a great product at a great value targeted at an audience that wants to, needs to, or likes to be dressed properly for the occasion at hand,” says Sean Cullers, director of sales and Made to Measure at Strong Suit Clothing. “That was Jamie Davidson's goal when he founded the business four years ago, I came on the team six months later and I don’t think there is a better quality brand at our price point in the market.”

Little Rock proved to be the perfect home for the Strong Suit team, as they all have strong ties to the Little Rock and Arkansas community. Grooms and groomsmen can order suits from their main office here in Little Rock, (in the River Market above Gusano's), and at the Independent in both Fayetteville and Bentonville.

While we found in our 2015 Arkansas Bride reader survey that 33 percent of grooms wore suits for the big day, 43 percent of readers said their man wore a tux. Cullers advises grooms commit to a tuxedo.

“Buy a tux, it’s the only way a guy can get what he wants. Plus, when you own your own tux you know where it was and what it did last night. Owning and wearing a tux to the proper occasions that looks great and fits well elevates your personal brand. Essentially, by renting a tux three times, you could buy one of ours and have it as long as it's cared for properly.”

When it comes to suiting fashion for 2017, Cullers says we can expect to see some interesting textures and a more laidback look for summer.

“Some grooms and brides just don’t want to be so formal for their wedding,” Cullers says. “They are taking a more seasonal approach to their dressing like the light grey suit or even linen suit for spring/summer and then darker tones for fall/winter.

“The other big trend we see in formal wear is the dinner jacket in a multitude of fabrications like velvet or plaids and check patterns, with subtle color,” Cullers says.

We're more than on board with that. When it comes to quality suiting that doesn’t break the bank, Strong Suit is a great option. Explore all that Strong Suit has to offer here
