The Zika virus were two of the major buzz words of 2016, causing a global scare about an unfamiliar virus that had previously been found in areas of Africa, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. While it's no longer considered a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, the Centers for Disease Control still consider the Zika virus and its associated consequences a "significant enduring public health challenge," according to the CDC's website

So what can you do?

One of the best things you can do is arm yourself with the known facts about the virus and learn about preventative measures. We're teaming up with the Arkansas Department of Health to gauge the Arkansan's knowledge about the virus to help them develop their health messages in the future.

You can help by taking the survey below, asking questions about how much you know about the Zika virus. Three survey participants will win a $100 Target gift card. Winners will be drawn at random — not based on the number of correct or incorrect answers. And who doesn't love a Target gift card?

Deadline to take the survey is Sunday, April 30. Winners will be contacted via email the following week.
