Not every bride has been dreaming about her wedding since she was a little girl. For some, the mere thought of planning a wedding makes them want to do a “runaway bride” a la Miss Mega-Watt Smile Julia Roberts.

When brides are far from Type A, sometimes it’s best to leave the planning in the hands of professionals. But what if you could leave ALL the details in the hands of a trusted pro?

That dream is now a reality thanks to the pros behind JLK Weddings. Jessica Kersey, owner of JLK Weddings, has recently unveiled her newest addition to her business — Elope by JLK Weddings. This brand-new service is what lowkey bride’s dreams are made of, because Jessica and her team will handle every portion of the nuptials. All you have to do is show up.

Jessica said she was inspired by the minimalist movement, although she says she’ll always have a soft spot in her heart for big weddings. Once the idea formed, Jessica did plenty of research to find out if there was an all-inclusive elopement business in the area.

“There’s a new place for something smaller, but just as meaningful,” Jessica says. “There’s a big market for romantic, smaller and adventurous weddings.”

Brides can rest assured they’ll be in good hands because Jessica has made arrangements with some of the top wedding vendors in the state to offer their services for the elopement packages. Vendors from all over the state specializing in photography, floral arrangements, venues and more will help Elope create gorgeous elopements.

Once a client tells Jessica they’d like to do an elopement within the state or the fringes of the state, Jessica and her team set to work. Because of the nature of elopements, the JLK Weddings team will be booking approximately 4 weeks (or less) in advance.

The elopement package Jessica thinks will be the most popular is the Signature Package, which includes the location, planning and set-up, officiant, photographer, hair and makeup, a small cake, a champagne toast, bouquet and boutonniere. This package will be priced at $3,500 and will accommodate up to 10 guests, covering everything except attire and the marriage license.

“The other smaller details such as the cakes, bouquets, etc., will be purchased on a case-by-case basis taking into account the style of the client so that we can customize the design,” Jessica says.

Elope by JLK Weddings will also have more adventurous options for wedding spots that will take a little bit of time and energy to get to, including Devil's Den, White Rock Mountain, Buffalo River and more. These adventurous elopements are for the couple who wants that incredible view and amazing photography for their vows.

There will be other add-on options for a more extravagant elopement including a floral statement piece for the ceremony, transportation via limo or antique car, live musician, hand-drawn calligraphy vows, videography and more.

With Elope by JLK Weddings, the sky's the limit for how extravagant or how intimate you want your elopement to be. Jessica and her team will work with each client to get a feel for what they want and go from there. These elopements can help couples focus on what’s important — the marriage — while cutting out the stressful elements of planning a wedding.
