A little over five years ago, Misti's best friend got married and she was the maid of honor, while Daryl just happened to be the best man. Even though the two went to the same school, they didn’t talk much until they had to walk together in the wedding.
After dating, the couple had talked about getting married many times but that’s all it was. Daryl decided that they would take the diamond he had from one of her grandma's rings and they would go together and pick a ring they both loved.
After Daryl proposed one day on their way to church, reality finally came flooding in. They were only engaged for seven months and it flew by in a flash, Misti says. "We had fun along the way and hope to have lots more in the future."
