Preston and I have enjoyed a fairly classic journey as a couple. We began as friends, discussing the horrors of the impending LSAT; enjoyed a fun "honeymoon" phase while both working in Washington D.C.; and committed to sticking together and supporting one another in love and life as we made our way through law school. This past fall, Preston proposed in front of a roaring fire at my family's lake house. I was completely surprised and caught off-guard (in frumpy sweats), but so excited to say 'yes' to my best friend. This May, we will graduate, move, and cap the month off with our marriage.
