Little Rock Bridal Shower

When our Arkansas Bride marketing guru Devan Malone came across this gorgeous (and colorful!) shower of her friend Paige, we knew we had to feature it. With a theme of "April Showers," it seemed fitting for our special month-long promotion covering everything you need to know about bridal showers. That's why it's this week's Bridal Shower of the Week. Enjoy!
Food: Hosts and designer Lisa Stagg showered guests with a variety of yummy snacks, including veggie shooters (celery sticks and carrots with ranch dressing at the bottom of shooter glasses); a fruit tray with fruit dip; Hawaiian ham slider sandwiches; cheese and bacon spread on served on Ritz crackers and Wheat Thins; and hot baked olive dip served with Fritos. For drinks, they served a pink lemonade spritzer and bottled Orange Crush. All glasses were rimmed with pink sanding sugar. And, the super-cute springy cakes were created by Community Bakery. Love!
Decorations: The theme was "April Showers," so Stagg and hosts wanted something "girly and springy" with lots of color. That meant incorporating umbrellas, large bright florals, tissue poms and polka dots anywhere they could. Napkins were an inspiration piece for Stagg. "I took them to Community Bakery and asked if they could make my cakes exactly like the napkins [I had]!" she said. Something else that added more pops of color and fun were the circles of scrapbook paper she cut out for confetti on the table.
