Of all the nontraditional ways a couple could meet, meeting on Instagram would have to be near the top, but that’s exactly how Tessa Sheehan of Phenix City, Ala., and Joe French of Little Rock crossed paths. “We’re not sure exactly how we found each other on Instagram, but we think it might have something to do with a Star Wars hashtag,” Tessa laughed. The two talked and Skyped for months before meeting in person, but they knew they’d found something special.
They ended up dating long-distance for a year while Tessa finished school in Jacksonville, Fla. and Joe was in Little Rock. When she graduated, Tessa moved to Arkansas, and one month later, the two were engaged. Less than five months after that, they were married.
