Little Rock's Cecil's Fine Jewelry, knows just how to keep your engagement rings beautiful, so we asked them to give us tips on making sure your rings continue to sparkle till death do you part!
1. Why yes, there's at-home jewelry cleaner, but the best way to keep rings clean and in good condition is to bring it into a jewelry store every three months or so, says Erin Walker, sales associate at Cecil's.
2. Have the prongs and stone(s) checked under a microscope. "We can't always prevent diamonds from falling out, but having the prongs checked regularly definitely cuts down on loss/damage," Walker says.
3. And now that you know the ring is in good shape, shine it up! Ask the jeweler to soak the ring in an ultrasonic and use a high pressure steamer. "This cleans by shaking loose any dirt or debris," Erin says.
