Springdale natives Emily Kennedy and Kyler Offenbacker go way, way back, but their story is only just beginning! The couple met in kindergarten at Shiloh Christian School, and is now engaged to be wed on Saturday, June 6, at St. Catherine's at Bell Gable in Fayetteville.

We adore this duo's sweet story, as well as their engagement session by Two Carters Photography. Here's the adorable engagement tale from Emily:

We went to dinner and afterwards, Kyler suggested we go for a walk at Crystal Bridges. We turned a corner, and I saw a bench with flowers surrounded by candles, a bench Kyler had made me during the summer. He had me sit on the bench and then got down on one knee.

He asked me the same way he kissed me the first time. The first time he kissed me, we were on a picnic and he said, "A) We can try to catch this squirrel (joingly - there was a squirrel by us), B) We can go swing (I had been wanting to swing) or C)..." and he kissed me! So when I heard him start asking the same way, I couldn’t help but smile even wider.

As he proposed, he said, "A) We can keep on walking on this trail, B) We can sit on this bench together and enjoy the night, or C) Emily Lynanne Kennedy, will you marry me?" Of course I said YES!!! Well, I was so emotional I only got "uh huh" out! Afterwards, Kyler, his mom and my mom threw a party to celebrate!

We almost can't handle the cuteness. Congrats, Kyler and Emily!
