Rowlett, Texas native Shelby Urban and Van Buren native Brooks White were friends for years before making it official. The two will tie the knot at Kindred North, (the Kindred Barn's new sister venue in NWA), on Saturday, June 23, 2018. We're loving their sweet ice cream-filled engagement sesh by The Shrewsburys.
Here's their engagement story in Shelby's words:
"We were close friends for about two years before we began dating... not like Brooks wasn't interested though. He tried to pursue me a couple of times, but the timing was never on his side. It wasn't until we went on a mission trip to Haiti that I began to notice that he had a lot of qualities I'd always hoped for in a husband. When we began dating, we immediately noticed that a lot of our traits seemed to pair well together and that where one of us fell short, the other was able to thrive, encouraging and pushing the other to grow in that area.
Everything fell into place so quickly and naturally, so we soon began talking about our future together and engagement. Brooks planned the engagement so that my parents and sisters could all be there right before Christmas, and we can't wait to start our new life together and have the [sickest] dance party of all time with all our friends as well!"
