Natasha’s focus on finding what makes each couple uniquely “them” leads to intimate and one-of-a-kind weddings.

Natasha Gates has always loved hosting and planning. She likes to think of weddings as the most fabulous dinner party with all your dearest friends and family, who have been alongside you through different seasons of life. It makes sense, then, that Natasha’s main focus when planning a wedding is exactly that—the story of what led those two people to meet, fall in love, and choose to spend the rest of their lives together.

“The only rule is that you get your marriage license signed. Be authentic and remember that this day is yours—put aside the urge to check others' boxes and meet others’ expectations. If you dream it, we can produce it!”

Since launching her planning business Natasha Gates Events in 2019, Natasha has decided to take on a limited number of weddings per year in order to really focus on fostering intimate planning experiences for each client.

When it comes to deciding on whether to hire a planner for your first day, Natasha likes to remind brides that the entire engagement season truly flies by. And while she hopes her clients continue to “date” each other for the rest of their lives, they’re only fiancés for a short time. So, make the most of that time by entrusting the nitty gritty details to someone who knows the industry like the back of their hand.

“Our goal is for you to be 100% submerged in enjoying the process and your day,” Natasha says. “The clients who trust in us to do our thing enjoy the process so much more!”

"My biggest tip is to immerse your guests in a sensory experience rather than just focusing on what they see. Think textures, sights, sounds, tastes and smells.”
