SAVANNAH BRAYMAN & JARRED ROGERS

June 10, 2023 | Cross Iron Cottage | Malvern | Jayce Keil Photography & Videography

Savannah and Jarred went to the same high school and graduated a few years apart. They later met through mutual friends, and Savannah realized after their first date that they were meant to be!

During a fun trip to Texas, the couple ended up going to a Jared store to look at rings. While there, Savannah fell in love with what would be her engagement ring, and little did she know that Jarred was close to purchasing it on the spot. He ended up waiting and proposed to Savannah with her dream ring in a wooded field that was very special to them.

“My personal favorite splurge would have to be my engagement ring!” Savannah said. “I told my husband I wanted it BIG and oval and that's exactly what I got. It is something I wear every day so I wanted it to be perfect.”

Savannah and Jarred decided to get married at the Cross Iron Cottage in Malvern. Savannah fell in love with the venue and loved how unique and quaint the English cottage was compared to other venues in central Arkansas. For the wedding’s theme, Savannah drew inspiration from one of her relatives:

“My biggest wedding inspiration came from my aunt!” Savannah said. “ We have always had very similar tastes — very Grandmillennial southern charm but also very classic, simple and understated.”

Q & A

Q: Describe the moment you found your wedding dress!

A: “I purchased my dress from Unveiled in Little Rock. Like I have said before I love simple, timeless pieces and I knew I wanted to shine wearing my dress and not have a dress wear me,” Savannah said. “The first thing I thought of when I put on my wedding dress was that I looked radiant and timeless. It is something my future daughter could wear and it wouldn’t look dated even 30 years from now.”

Q: Tell us about your florals!

A: “For our florals, my inspiration was very tone-on-tone whites on creams with a dash of blue,” Savannah said. “I have always loved simple elegant flowers and I feel the white brings the ultimate feeling of timeless elegance.”

Q: What was your favorite moment of the day?

A: “My absolute favorite moment of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing my future husband tear up,” Savannah said. “He is definitely not a crier and it was a running joke in our friend circle that he wouldn’t shed a tear at the wedding. It made me really realize how much our wedding meant to him and that he loved me very much.”

Q: What is your secret to wedding planning success?

A: “My secret to planning a successful wedding is having a mother with similar taste,” Savannah said. “It made everything go a whole lot smoother knowing my mother would make the same decision I would if I wasn’t there to make it.”
