Stanley Jewelers Gemologists, 3422 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, is celebrating its 75th birthday with an estate collection sale, a trunk show, a watch day and a full-blown birthday party with cake and prizes. Come in any time to register for a chance to win a $2,500 gift certificate.

Stanley Jewelers Gemologist was founded in 1936 by Charles Stanley in downtown North Little Rock. In 1960, Stanley’s opened in its current location on historic Park Hill. Stanley’s was the first store in central Arkansas to earn membership in the American Gem Society.

Loyd Stanley became the first Certified Gemologist Appraiser in central Arkansas in 1985. Stanley’s currently has four Certified Gemologists on staff.

Opening the festivities will be a ribbon cutting at the store at 10 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 8) by the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. It will be followed by a special one-day-only estate collection sale.

Watch Day will be Thursday (Nov. 10) with a Bulova and Accutron trunk show and a collection of Rolex accessories including diamond dials, bezels and replacement bracelets.

Friday's birthday bash, happening from 5-8 p.m., will offer cake, door prizes, shopping opportunities and a chance to meet staff members and other Stanley's customers.

The store will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 12) through Christmas. A drawing will be held for the $2,500 gift certificate.
