"Stunning" is the word that comes to mind with this engagement session. Seeing as it's National Proposal Day, we thought this was the perfect couple to share with you!
Meet Nicole Clark of Cabot and Drew Vaden of Bryant. These two will say "I do" on Saturday, June 20, at the Royal Ridge Wedding Venue in Hot Springs.
Not only is this session by L A Y E R S Photography stunning (fact: there is no better word to describe it), but their dog, Murph, played a huge role in the proposal. We know, we're dying, too. Here's the story from Nicole:
Superbowl Sunday will now be a day we'll always celebrate! Every year, Drew's parents have a big crawfish broil for the superbowl. Family and friends are always there, and this year my parents were coming!
Everyone knows that Drew and I absolutely adore our one year old lab, Murph. We got him after we had been dating for about two months. Murph had been off at training to learn how to be a good duck hunting dog, so we were only getting to see him about once a month, and he had been gone about two months.
It was a normal Sunday, we went to church and then ran errands getting ready to go to the party. We got there and my parents called me saying they were running late, which is not unusual for my mom but little did I know, they were picking up Murph.
My parents arrived and my mom and drew's mom walked off to "fix my mom's contact." The next thing I knew, my Murph dog was running into the house with a ribbon and a blinking light on his neck. I was too excited to see him to notice. Drew had to ask me what was on his neck, and when I looked down, there was a dog tag that read "Will you marry my Dad?" and the other side said "Drew & Nicole 2-1-15." When I looked back up, Drew was on one knee asking me to be his wife! It was an absolutely perfect day! We were so blessed to have family and friends there!
So cute it's not fair. Congrats, Drew and Nicole (and Murph)!
