Cabot natives Jessica Hazeslip and Sam Shirley only have a few days left before they say their "I-do's" on Sunday, June 14, at An Enchanted Evening Wedding Venue & Luxury Cabin in Roland.

This engagement session by Sterling Imageworks is gorgeous, as is this couple's proposal story. We've seen plenty of scavenger hunts in our day, but this takes the wedding cake! Here's how Jessica tells the story.

One morning, as I exited the shower, unexpectedly my front door opened. It was my best friend. She said to hurry and get ready. After I got ready, my friend handed me a card. The first card led us to Starbucks for breakfast. The next card was a gift card to get our nails done.

There was a card for each stop telling me what to do, and every place we stopped, someone special was there with a gift. From a Patagonia jacket, to a Michael Kors watch, to a Louis Vuitton purse and even a gift card to Dillard's to buy a new dress for the night.

The last card was to go home and pack an over-night bag (that he had bought and placed on my bed). The card said to meet him at the Marriott at 6:30. I was surprised when the front desk handed me a key to the Governor’s Suite. I opened the door and all the lights were off, but candles lit the stairway all the way upstairs. I got upstairs, and he was down on one knee with music playing. He videoed the whole thing.

After saying "yes," I heard a knock. It was my parents! He made reservations for my parents and us to go to Sonny Williams for dinner! He even surprised me later that night with a Pandora charm of the engagement ring. He. Thought. Of. Everything.

He really did think of everything! Congratulations, Sam and Jessica!
