It's official. Courtney Ulrich and Dominic Smith are getting married! The two are Fayetteville and Rogers natives, respectively, and will tie the knot on Saturday, June 11, at Rockford Grange at Bear Hollow Ranch just north of the state line in Washburn, Missouri.
Not only is this couple's engagement sesh by Miles Witt Boyer absolutely swoon-worthy, but their love story is just as sweet. Here's how Courtney tells it:
We met in high school through both Arkansas Governor's School and our schools' Debate and Forensics programs. We actually didn't get along at first, but after graduation, when two mutual friends started dating, we started to build a relationship. We started dating long-distance our freshman year of college. Being two hours away has forced us both to work towards our relationship, but it has absolutely been worth it. After four years of dating and thousands of miles later, Dominic popped the question in a room filled with all of our friends — he even invited my friends from home to drive down to Conway. After I said yes, they popped champagne bottles and everyone celebrated. I was absolutely drenched in champagne, but it made for the perfect proposal!
