You carefully selected the perfect wedding flowers. They’re gorgeous, they’re so you - now make sure your guests notice them. Read on for four ways to incorporate your flowers into your day beyond a simple floral arrangment.

1. On your cake

Did you know that many flowers are edible? That includes roses, one of the most popular wedding flowers, as well as violets and many others. Ask your baker to include sugared violets or candied flower petals on your cake for a romantic, organic touch.

2. In your drinks

Continue with the floral theme by garnishing your drinks with edible flowers. You can even serve floral cocktails! It’s easy: choose a signature drink that includes rose syrup or elderflower liqueur, then top with lovely blooms.

3. On your head

If you have a lot of young guests, you may want a kid-friendly activity to keep the littles happily occupied during the party. A flower crown-making station will appeal to kids of all ages. Every little girl (or flower-loving boy) can feel like part of your wedding while wearing a flower crown. This activity would also go over well at a shower or bachelorette.

4. Down the aisle

Go big or go home. Absolutely cover your day in flowers by walking on flower petals as you go down the aisle (like Brianne Kline did at her wedding), or have your guests throw flower petals instead of rice after the ceremony. If you choose a sweet-smelling flower, your whole day will have a gentle fragrance to it.
