One long distance couple will soon pledge to be together forever. Natasha Archer and John Braun are engaged to be married on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Goodwin Manor in Little Rock.

I originally met my fiance through mutual friends while in school at UAMS and later moved to Pittsburgh for his residency. We've been together for three years, of which half was long distance. We recently took a trip to St. John for the weekend.
He waited until we were alone and I was sitting in his lap to say "I've been talking with your dad and ..." He then pulled an incredible ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee! After his many sweet words, I said "of course I will!" while crying. I was so surprised. It was the perfect spot and words from the best man I know. He has always said he wouldn't propose with a ring, because he wanted me to choose it. So the amazing rose gold, vintage inspired ring that he picked all on his own was a beautiful surprise too.
