Corning native Katie Gipson and Brad Eagle of Star City decided on forever with a wedding date set for March 11, 2017 at the Levy Baptist Church, followed by a reception at the Clinton Presidential Center. We're loving their fun engagement photos at Dickey Stephens taken by Sterling Imageworks.
Here's the abridged version of their engagement story:
After accepting a new job, Katie's then boyfriend, now fiancé Brad, asked her to dinner to celebrate. Brad kept the details of the night a secret, but instructed Katie to dress up. When the pulled up to the Capital Hotel, Katie assumed they were just there for a nice dinner. Once they got inside, Brad suggested they go upstairs first where Katie found a large hatbox with her name on it. After looking through the contents, she noticed it was full of Kate Spade office supplies with "Katie Marie Eagle" (her new last name) engraved in them, and a ring box. After the Katie said yes, the newly engaged couple headed to a private party downstairs to celebrate with family and friends.
