Inverness Bridal Couture in Conway may be the new kid on the block when it comes to bridal boutiques, but they carry heavy-hitter bridal lines like Blush by Hayley Paige sure to tempt any bride. Inverness exclusively carries Alvina Valenta, Ti Adora by Alvina Valenta, Ellis, Calla Blanche and Mon Cheri Collection by Laine Berry.

The owner of Inverness, Leigh Middleton, said she struggled with a name for her new bridal boutique. One evening, Leigh’s mom told her that her wedding China pattern had a beautiful name — Inverness. The name is a small tribute to the beautiful marriage of her parents.

We chatted with Leigh about her new store and what her inspiration was to start Inverness in Conway.

How did Inverness come about — what was the inspiration behind the shop & its name?

I was a stay at home mother for eight years and homeschooling my gorgeous daughter, Audrey. About halfway through the school year last year, she told me she was done with home school. She wanted to go to school and make some friends! I decided if she was going to do what she wanted to do, I would as well. It's been my dream since I was a little girl to own a bridal boutique, so in January I opened the doors of Inverness and have felt like I was living a dream ever since.

What's been the best part of owning a bridal boutique?

There is nothing I love more than my time with each bride. Every girl leaves here and I feel like I have a new, dear friend. My goal is for every bride to leave Inverness knowing I gave her an experience unlike anywhere else. I want every girl to feel like I'm not only her stylist and consultant, but also her friend. Developing these relationships is my absolute favorite part of owning Inverness.
