Bridget Thomas & Stephen Hicks are tying the knot! Although Stephen is currently residing in Chicago, the couple, both from Conway, got engaged during a surprise trip to Conway!
Until we get to see their wedding photos, which we are sure will be just as full of personality and love as their engagement photos, we are enjoying their unique and beautiful engagement photos that leave no question about where their loyalties lie when it comes to baseball. The couple will exchange vows at Agape Church and Angelo's Garden on Saturday, March 31, 2018.
Here is what Bridget shared with us about their story:
"We met in the summer before junior high and started hanging out in the same crowds. Stephen was special from the very beginning. He was kind and incredibly selfless and loving for a teenage boy. We became friends, and eventually I started crushing on Stephen pretty hard. We suffered a similar loss while in High School which brought us closer. I would write him letters during the Holidays just to let him know that I was thinking about him. Losing a loved one is very difficult, especially when Holidays come around. Stephen and I went to different colleges but we remained friends, even though I wished we were more than that, haha! Our paths crossed again after college, he moved back home. I don’t know what was different this time around but Stephen asked me on a date after a couple of hang outs. My life hasn’t been the same since. He has changed my life in the most beautiful way and on January 21, 2017 he asked me to be his wife by surprising me in Conway. That was one of the best days of my life and I can’t wait to share many more “best” days with him."
