Samantha and Mason Halsey went all in on Halloween — and we couldn't love it more!

You might remember Samantha's incredible bridals we shared last year, but now we have the whole wedding to share with you. And it's one to remember.

The Love Story

The couple met while Samantha worked at a restaurant where Mason was actually her boss. She says she remembers walking in for the interview, seeing him and thinking, "Wow he's really cute, I hope he works a lot."

One day he was sitting at the bar after work and Samantha quoted something from one of her favorite Sci-Fi shows, Firefly. Mason recognized the quote and suggested they go out for a drink sometime.

"We had both gotten out of pretty bad relationships, so we weren't looking and we just... found each other," she says. "I even remember the day I realized how I felt. I was with my friends having coffee and they asked me about him and I said, 'Guys... I think I love him. I'm in love with him.' We've been together ever since, and to think if I hadn't hated my previous job so much we wouldn't have met."

The Wedding

When it came time to plan their big day, Samantha knew a traditional wedding was not in the cards.

"I wasn't one of those girls that had a dream wedding," she says. "The only thing I remember is going to my mom when I was six and saying, 'I want to get married on Halloween and I want a black and purple dress.'"

Check and check. The couple ended up tying the knot on Oct. 30, 2016 at Nixon Flower Farm in Jacksonville. Their photographer, Stephanie Parsley, captured their unconventional and completely unique wedding perfectly.

"I thought a fall wedding in Arkansas would be perfect, not too cold to need an inside venue, but cool enough to stay outside," Samantha says. "I was so unbelievably wrong. It was so incredibly hot and humid that day (of course, this IS Arkansas). Even though it was unbelievably muggy and hot, I didn't care. The leaves were brown and orange, the sun was out, and I was about to marry the love of my life on Halloween. I think my six-year-old self would have been very pleased."

Congrats and happy anniversary, you two!
