We asked local florists what the top flower trends are right now. Here’s what they had to say:

KELLY EFIRD FLOWER EVENTS

Succulents

“Most brides want something romantic, and greenery is really the trend right now. Lots of draped greenery with a few pops of color really gives them the romantic look they want. But peonies are still the top pick with brides for a large bloom flower.”

—Kelly Efird

FLOWERS & HOME - BENTON

Dahlia

“Dahlias are a very popular choice for brides because of the colors. Everyone is trying to use the wine tone in their weddings. The burgundy dahlia gives you a little bit of red without being on the burgundy and black side. It has more of a plum undertone and goes great with blush pink. There are just not a lot of blooms that come in that color.”

—Tom Bynum

PETAL CHIK DESIGNS

Silver Dollar Eucalyptus

“Silver dollar eucalyptus has been in almost every design. It is no secret that greenery has been all the rage for the past few years. With the rising popularity of using greys and blues and the bohemian trend, this greenery has all the right colors and movement to fill the role.”
