Fort Smith natives Taylor Ghahremani and Chance Scamardo are tying the knot on November 17, 2018, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith, and photographer Erin Wilson captured the moment with this adorable engagement sesh. We love the beautiful flowers and fun Hillcrest neighborhood cameo!

Here's the tale in Taylor's words:

"In the summer and fall of 2017, while I was busy studying for medical school exams and applying for residency, Chance was secretly researching diamond cuts and ring settings, scheming with my friends and family (he even made a secret trip to Fort Smith to ask my parents), and I was none the wiser! On November 17th, 2017, I was with some of my girlfriends on the way to dinner in Fayetteville when we made a pit stop at the Inn at Carnall Hall on the University of Arkansas campus. I was under the impression we were picking up tickets to the box seats for the football game the next day.

"When we got to the entrance, I saw Chance standing there with his hands in his pockets, looking at me and smiling. There were little tea candles and white rose petals. Even after nine years of dating, I was still completely surprised! He grabbed my hand and said, "We have different plans tonight." I can't remember everything he said because I was still in shock, and I'm not even sure if I said yes at the time! There was lots of hugging and kissing and happy tears, and a couple bottles of champagne. Afterward, he surprised me with a little party with our closest friends and family at the JBGB to celebrate, and it was absolutely perfect. We can't wait to make it official on the one year anniversary of our engagement in the town where we grew up together!"

Congrats to the happy couple!
