North Little Rock native Peyton Brazear and Little Rock native Chase Barnes grew up just minutes away from each other. They were introduced in September 2016, and Peyton says it felt strange that they hadn't met sooner. The two will tie the knot at the Clinton Presidential Center in March 2019.

Here's their love story in Peyton's words:

"Chase sent me a photo one afternoon in December as he made his way home from hunting. It was a photo of a puppy on the side of the road that was obviously neglected. I remember thinking to myself that this would be the deal breaker — if he rescued the dog, then he was definitely the one for me. Who would leave a neglected puppy on the side of the road, anyway? Minutes later, Chase sent a photo of Ridge in the front seat and said: 'We're headed home!' Almost fifteen months later, Chase proposed on Easter while we were at the river with our lab, Macy. She retrieved a white bumper with 'Marry Me?' written across the front and we have been ecstatic ever since!"

Congrats, lovebirds!
