The minute our team spotted this magical wedding, we were furiously group texting about how much we loved it. The florals! The theme! Those details! We published this wedding back in our Fall/Winter 2018 issue, but it's still one of our absolute faves from the year.

Here are some of the details we loved the most about their beautiful day.

"Anyone who knows me well would tell you that I am a voracious reader, and I almost exclusively read fantasy novels. When I saw Thorncrown Chapel, I knew instantly that I wanted to get married there (and luckily Riley felt the same way!). Thorncrown Chapel has an ethereal and regal beauty, and I thought it looked like something out of a fairytale. This sparked the idea to draw inspiration from my favorite books like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, and to create a day that felt effortlessly romantic and magical."

"The processional was 'Concerning Hobbits,' and the bridal party walked in to 'Tale as Old as Time.' I walked in to 'A Thousand Years,' and we exited to 'Shut Up and Dance.' The ceremony music was played by a string quartet, and my childhood best friend performed 'A Thousand Years.'"

"We used vintage fairytale and children’s books I’ve collected over the years for the centerpieces, and little gold-painted woodland creatures and unicorns. We also used tiny pumpkins with monogrammed ribbons as place cards, and flowers displayed in bell jars to channel Cinderella and Beauty & the Beast."

"We had a cake bar with three custom, fall-inspired flavors (vanilla bean maple, salted caramel, and chocolate hazelnut with coffee buttercream) and a University of Oklahoma groom’s cake, plus a donut board with cute treat bags as favors. (The donuts were a huge hit, and by far the cheapest food item we purchased!)"
