Former Arkansas Razorback pitcher and current Baltimore Orioles player Blaine Knight and his fiance Rachel Box are tying the knot!
Blaine and Rachel met while attending the University of Arkansas two and a half years ago. Blaine played for the Razorback's baseball team and Rachel played for the Razorback's softball team. The two automatically hit it off, finding a shared love for hunting, fishing, being around family and friends and the Razorbacks. Rachel and Blaine started dating a few months after they met and they've been together ever since.
Here's their engagement story in Rachel's words:
"Sunday, Dec. 9 rolls around, and my friend Claire asked if I would go help her pick out a Christmas tree for her house and then go shopping since her husband, Josh Alberius, and Blaine were out hunting for the weekend. We headed to Motley's Tree Farm to look for a tree. When we got there, we walked for a little bit when out from behind a tree pops Blaine. Then he proceeds to say how much he loves me and all the sudden he is down on a knee asking me to marry him! I was so surprised and so so so happy to finally be his fiancé and soon-to-be wife!"
