Rogers natives Emily Cox and Cory Martindale's relationship came full circle when they said their I dos in the same spot that Cory proposed. But the couple's pull towards Hunt Chapel goes back even further than that.

Early on in their relationship, Cory took Emily home to see his family. The two drove by Hunt Chapel and she remembers it being the most beautiful place she'd ever seen. After that, it became the couple's favorite place to take their black lab Olive on walks.

Three years later on what seemed to be an ordinary Thursday in March, the couple took Olive on a walk to Hunt Chapel. Little did Emily know, both Cory and Emily's entire family was hiding on the other side waiting for Cory to propose. "Twenty people from four different states had come into town for the occasion," Emily says. "It was something I will never forget."

We loved the couple's moody winter wedding in northwest Arkansas so much that we had to share it with you all.

On their ceremony and reception venues: "We loved the idea of an evening, winter wedding as the sun was setting with dim lights and windows to look outside. We felt Pinnacle Country Club would have a similar ambiance as Hunt Chapel when the lights were dim. Everything came to life exactly as we had imagined."

On her wedding dress: "I knew I wanted a lace dress but didn’t know what style. I thought my grandmother was the most beautiful, elegant bride, and her dress was lace. The one I chose reminded me of hers."

On her theme: "Cory and I both love winter, so we wanted a classic winter wedding (not Christmas) with muted, smoky tones, gold elements and a few pops of color."

On the lovely florals: "I chose the traditional white peonies and garden roses with burgundy and yellow ranunculus. To make a more wintery-looking bouquet, we added seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller to drape throughout and brunia for an added touch of something different."

On reception decor: "I put all of our flowers at the reception venue – I wanted flowers everywhere. We had large and small arrangements and bud vases throughout with equally as many candles and votives. My favorite part was probably our photo guest book. We had a large frame draped with flowers for guests to take their pictures and distressed white easels to display the photos."

On the cake: "I wanted a simple, but large wedding cake, so we chose a five-tier, ivory cake with greenery and our wedding flowers surrounding each tier. It was three different flavors — pumpkin spice, cinnamon apple, and butter almond with raspberry — and no one could choose a favorite."
