Midland, Texas native Kendyl Washburn and Mark Miedema of Denver said their I dos on Sept. 8, 2018, among the sprawling gardens at Moss Mountain Farm. Their intimate wedding of 60 guests was a natural extension of the farm's already gorgeous setting. Using a color palette of cream, white, green and blush, the couple wanted their wedding colors to blend in with the nature at Moss Mountain.

Once they settled on their venue, the planning team at Moss Mountain Farm got to work and made Kendyl and Mark's planning experience a breeze.

"After you have been to Moss Mountain, it is impossible to consider getting married anywhere else as it is gorgeous," Kendyl says. "Mark and I both loved the location and knew it would be perfect for the small wedding we desired."

Read on to see more from Kendyl and Mark's lovely garden wedding.

On their invitations: "Jessie Fuchs is a friend of mine from college who recently had started a custom fine art invitation business and she custom-designed our invitations and wedding programs. She visited Moss Mountain Farm and designed our stationery using watercolors to go along with the garden feel. This detail is still one of my favorites from our wedding!"

On her lovely gown: "My wedding dress was from BHLDN. After getting engaged in Chicago, I called their store to ask if they had any last minute openings to try on wedding dresses. The dress I chose was my favorite from the very beginning and after trying it on that day I did not shop for any other dresses as I knew it was the one!"

On flower girl and ring bearer fashion: "My daughter, Sloane, and Mark’s niece were our flower girls. Mark’s nephew was our ring bearer. Their dresses and outfits were purchased from J Crew. The girls had ivory dresses with a simple bow on the back. They were supposed to wear flower crowns, but refused ha! The ring bearer was dressed in a white button up and suit pants that matched Mark. I loved the clean, classic style of their wardrobes."

On wedding day snafus: "It did start lightly raining right before our wedding ceremony, but we were prepared for this possibility and adjusted accordingly. Kati Mallory did a fantastic job and you would never be able to tell by looking
at her pictures that it rained!"

On the florals: "We used Cabbage Rose Florist for all of our wedding floral needs and I can’t speak highly enough about them. I gave them my vision for our floral and they went above and beyond my expectations — just see
pictures for proof!"

On the couple's reception style: "We desired an intimate wedding/reception and loved the venue of Moss Mountain for this reason. We had a sit-down dinner in Grange Hall with our closest friends and family. I could not imagine anything more perfect for Mark and me!"
