Kristen Vandaveer and Zac Nicholson of Little Rock will exchange vows on Sept. 20, 2014 at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock.

It's a wonder Zac and Kristen didn't meet sooner. They shared mutual friends, lived in the same town and had similar interests. While out one night with friends, Zac introduced himself. Kristen had known Zac's brother for years and thought it funny they were just now meeting each other. Upon their second meeting, Zac slyly managed to get Kristen's phone number. On their third outing with friends, Zac's witty personality and charm quickly won her over-- and they've been inseparable ever since.
Three years later the couple vacationed in Key West. Under a full moon, they walked along the beach, hand-in-hand. They stopped to sit on a nearby swing to enjoy the evening. Zac casually talked about the future and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and asked if she felt the same. He then proceeded to get on one knee, pulled out a ring and proposed. After cherishing the moment, Zac and Kristen walked back to the condo where their friends toasted them with champagne.
