College sweethearts Madeline McCorkle and Cole Bundy met in 2011 during New Student Retreat at Ouachita Baptist. Madeline was standing in line behind a curly headed boy when he turned around and looked at her with fake flowers in hand and said, "I like your hair." The rest is history. The two have set the date for Saturday, September 16, 2017. We're loving their gorgeous engagement photos by Miles Witt Boyer.
Here's their enagement story in Madeline's words:
"Cole and I had been talking about marriage and engagement for a while. My whole family was in town for Thanksgiving so we decided to go look at the lights on the square because they had just put them up. It was raining outside so I was a little surprised that everyone still wanted to go. My mom suggested we take a picture so I picked up my little cousin for the photo. Not realizing what was going on after putting him down, I turned around to walk away when someone suggested we take one more picture but on Cole's phone this time, which isn't normal at all. So, I stopped and turned back around. At that moment, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him... only to realize the ring box was upside down. It was the perfect moment and I am so happy he allowed my family to experience it with me."
