We know what you're thinking: "Isn't that a shopping center?" Well, yes. But not only does the outdoor shopping destination house some of our favorite shops, (lookin' at you, Pottery Barn), it's also the home to one of NWA's best-kept secrets: The Pavilion.

The newly renovated building spanning 15,000 square feet, was previously the food pavilion for the outdoor shopping center. After receiving requests to turn the empty pavilion into an event space, a plan was set into motion.

"We removed some fixed bench seating to open up the space and allow for more flexibility in set up," says David Faulkner, senior general manager at GGP. "We added sound dampening boards, frosting on the exterior windows for privacy, upgraded a food location for caterers and built a bridal suite. It is very open and has a neutral palette so it should work for any design."

The space, which can accommodate over 500 guests, offers many additional perks including plentiful parking, easy access, a fireplace, large restrooms, a catering room with a commercial ice machine, walk-in cooler and three-compartment sink.

In addition to the space, brides can expect full access to the Pavilion's tables and chairs, staging, pipe and drapes. The Pavilion has 25 6-foot tables, 25 8-foot tables, and 12 60-inch round tables as well as former food court tables capable of seating 500 guests. In addition, brides have access to 300 modern wood chairs, 135 padded wood chairs and 100 white folding chairs.

"We also have A/V equipment available for rent at a much discounted price over what you can normally find," Faulkner says.

So far, Faulkner says the Pavilion has been booked by two brides for 2017, both of which are planning on holding their wedding and receptions on-site. We can't wait to see what brides have up their sleeve's for transforming this space into the wedding venue of their dreams.
