One of the biggest and best wedding trends we keep seeing is flower crowns. The warmer months have shown us many a bride and her maids just dripping in to-die-for florals, but it doesn't have to end with the onset of autumn.

Whether it's a dainty halo of baby's breath or a bright peony show-stopper, the crowns don’t seem to be going away any time soon. (How stunning is Tessa Sheehan in this shot by Stephanie Parsley Photography?)

Maybe you’ve been eying this trend, but are a little wary to join in with your autumn nuptials. Never fear! There are just as many fall florals to fall in love with, and we’ve got the scoop.

Here are five types of foliage that will totally toast your ‘mallows when the leaves start to change.

Baby’s Breath

We mentioned it before because it’s a crowd favorite, and for good reason! It makes a great filler around bigger blooms, but solo adds a classic, delicate touch all its own (snowberries, too!).

Dahlias

These are a versatile bunch. They range in color from springtime pinks to rich reds and golds. The uniqueness of dahlias adds variety and texture to any floral lineup.

Succulents

That’s right, we’re still crazy about the green stuff! Succulents come in a million colors, shapes and sizes. The earthy depth of these beauties make for a gorgeous minimalist crown, or can go with just about any other flowers you desire.

David Austen Roses

You know the giant roses with so many petals they look like they might burst? That’s these guys. If you’re going for something in the peach/orange/yellow family with a modern twist, this might be what you’re looking for. They’re big  think Lana Del Rey flower crown big    and oh, so striking.

Leaves

Ok, this one might seem like cheating, but how can we overlook Mother Nature’s fave fall accessory? A twisted ivy crown is a sweet, simple addition to your already killer look. Not sold? Try spray painting it gold. Wowza!
