Rogers native Brittany McClain and Bentonville's Daniel Beahm are engaged to be married on Sept. 18, 2015, at the Sassafras Springs Vineyard in Springdale.

In December of 2013, Dan moved away from Fayetteville to begin his new career in Oklahoma. I had one more semester left at the University of Arkansas before graduating. A couple of weeks before graduation, Dan decided last minute to come into town while my parents took my graduation pictures. That Saturday, as we were finishing up the last of the pictures, I turned around to see Dan on his knee on the top stair of Old Main. I was in complete shock and didn't expect for it to happen then!
