The day began much like many other summer days: Josh and I were both working. We had been texting throughout the day, Josh asked if I wanted to go on a picnic and of course I wanted to! Around six o'clock, he picked me up and I still had no clue where we were going, but when Josh turned right, I knew! We were going to our tree. The most beautiful part of this tree is the carved heart right in the middle. As we neared our tree, I noticed that something was different, our initials had been carved in the tree and there was a perfectly groomed area for our picnic. We laid out the blanket and began our picnic. We were admiring the trees when Josh said, "We need to talk, I don't think we can get married like we had talked about." I said, "I understand," but before I could get those words out of my mouth, Josh said, "Because you don't have a ring." He then got down on one knee and said, "Christin Lee Beggs, will you marry me?" Without hesitation, I said yes!
