Happy day, y'all! Emily Clevenger and Will Pierce are engaged! The Little Rock duo will say their "I do"s on Saturday, May 16, at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.

Like many couples, we met through mutual friends. I was a senior at Central High and Will was a freshman at the University of Arkansas. We hung out together several times and were each other's midnight kiss on New Years Eve 2009. During that year, we knew there was something more than friendship.
The next fall, I went off to Fayetteville for college... and we started dating and were each others "plus one" to functions and parties. Through the various trips to Little Rock for the holidays, we were able to get to know each other's family. The future began to form for Will and me.
Through up and downs, Will and I clung to each other, building a foundation of support and commitment to each other. Once we were back in Little Rock, we began to talk about a serious future together. On October 11, 2013, Will surprised me one afternoon at my house with tons of rose petals spelling out "Will You Marry Me?" I of course said yes!
