Molly Magee and John Thomas Shepherd, both of El Dorado, will exchange vows Aug. 23, 2014 at Conway First Baptist Church.

Molly and John Thomas met in law school and began dating while they were both interning in Little Rock one summer. On their first date, they went to dinner and an art museum. The museum closed early that night and neither of them wanted the date to end, so John Thomas took her on a walk around the grounds of the Arkansas State Capitol building. He picked magnolia blossoms for her, and they sat on a bench and laughed and talked for hours.
Two years later, after Molly had been out of town all week for work, John Thomas picked her up from the airport and took her back to that same bench where asked her to be his wife! They went to Molly’s parents’ house in Conway, where John Thomas surprised her with an engagement party with all of their friends and family. They love reflecting on how God has orchestrated their love story and are thrilled to see what is in store for their lives together!
